How to ask
for a review
A smiling employee serving customers at a counter
Just ask.

The best time is right after a great moment: the guest is clearly having a good time, thanks you, or compliments their food. That's when they're happy to help.

What to say

"Thanks so much for coming in! Would you mind leaving us a quick Google review? If you mention my name, it really helps me out."

Iceberg review card with a QR code and a line for the employee's name
Hand them a card

Write your name on the line first, then hand it over and tell them they can scan the code to leave a review.

Review us on Google tap-or-scan stand
Or use the tap stand

Point them to the stand at the counter. They can tap their phone on it or scan the code.

Ask for a few words

A review with a comment earns full points, and one that names you earns double. Stars alone only count half.

Keep it real

Never offer a guest anything for a review, and never write one for them. Google removes reviews like that, and they won't count.

Great service first. Then just ask. Live scoreboard: icebergdriveinn.com/pages/review-contest
